  2. My most positive thoughts for a vet friendly C&P examiner. I have met good , bad and disengaged C&P examiners. Remember you can get an IMO if you do not agree with the VA's C&P report. Best wishes, Commander Bob

I request additional time so we may reach an equatable conclusion to this case. I still have not received, or had the opportunity to review copies of my "

  6. For decades the VA has been gaming the system. Since it's inception, VA executive employees have been gaming Congress, the President and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Now, it's just a matter of time before those nefarious career VA employees will be found out. C.B.
  7. The media buzz seems to be all about the VAMC and health care. It appears the VAROs and their affiliates are being played down. If the public only knew... Cmdr. Bob
  8. President picks new Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs... Bob McDonald http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_A._McDonald
  9. DSM-5 Diagnostic Criteria for PTSD More info... new symptoms were added: The fifth revision (DSM-5) was released in May 2013. This revision includes changes to the diagnostic criteria for PTSD and Acute Stress Disorder. http://www.ptsd.va.gov/professional/pages/diagnostic_criteria_dsm-5.asp Good luck, Cmdr. Bob
  10. The Chairman of the House Veterans Committee said, "This Deception and Incompetence at the VA without any accountability is more than just a shame. It's a disgrace."
  11. TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 101 > § 2071 § 2071. Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally (a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. 12. Pathetic... 20 or 25 miles distance away from many VAMCs , would show real commitment in helping disabled vets. Disabled vets living outside of metropolitan areas would still have 40 miles of heavy traffic to go through just to spend 20 min. looking for a place to park. Then 40 miles of rush hour traffic back home, after spending hours at one of those training hospitals. This clause in the bill gives us insight into the mentality of those in Congress, who claim they want to rebuild the VA system. I want to see more from these changes they are trying to beguile us with. JMHO,
  13. I agree, Berta, however, this would require much sacrifice from our new generation, as well as the older vets. I am reminded of "Hooverville ." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonus_Army Herding cats these days is even more challenging, because many are so feral. Also, it appears the public suffers from ADD. 14. I just received this email?... "Symantec Email Proxy deleted the following email message: From: "HadIt.com Veterans Forum" <noreply@hadit.com> To: XXXXXXXXXXXXX aka Commander Bob Subject: New reply to What Is Your Number One Complaint About The Va?" Whats up with this. could just be a glich. I will check my computer settings I am posting this to insure that I can follow this topic thread. C.B.
  15. Good Luck, John. You have earned this one... Bob
  16. Congratulations, 'Snake Eyes'. Best regards, Cmdr. Bob
  17. I won my case at BVA. Cmdr.Bob
  18. I agree with dav_marine 72. However, from what you have posted, the VA failed to notify you of your C&P exam in a " timely manner" . JMHO. Call the phone number of the C&P clinic listed on the C&P notice lettter tommorow. Tell them of your delima, and of their "failure to notify you in a timely manner", and then politely ask the clerk for another appointment date. I would not like to see, "failure to report to a C&P exam" show up in your denial notice. Sorry for all the hoops disabled vets have to jump through just to get what they have earned. Let's ho
