I would like to report that I was awarded smc (s) with retro pay back to 2008. It continues to amaze me what you can learn on this board and other boards about the benefits that you are entitled to but everything thing is so vague and confusing when dealing with the VA. Once again thanks to everyone, I'm proof that you qualify for SMC (s) if you have a 100% disability and other disabilities that are combine to equal 60% or more. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, I actually received a call from a VA representative on the past Saturday to inform me. Also, it has been updated in my ebenefits portal. THANKS!! P.S. EMAILING BOB WORKED!!!!
