  1. What is the best course of action to take if you was denied aid and attendance
  2. Thanks for the reply, however, I have not received my packet in the mail yet. I downloaded the letter off of eBenefits
  3. After fighting the VA since my retirement in 2004, it finally happen. 100% Totally and permanently disabled. I have two kids in college, how do I start their pay for going to school? Again, thank you hadit and everyone for all your help and support over the years. Hopefully, I will be able to pay it forward. Retired SFC Coleman
  4. This was the first time it was posted on mine. eBenefits will drive you crazy. Thanks for the response
  5. Here is my question: On eBenefits my claim went to pending decision approval on the 30th of July. However, about 10 days later, I notice this message: Change of Status: We determined that your claim needed additional review. If additional evidence is needed from you, you will receive a letter from us explaining what is needed. However, the claim is still at Pending decision approval, with this message. Can someone tell me if this is good or bad news? I was hoping my claim was almost finished when it went to this stage, but now I'm began to worry. I am at 90% if that help any
  6. Thank you, that is the answer I was looking for. I did not want to lose my military retirement just because I applied for unemployability
  7. I am retired military with a rating of 90% from the VA. Today, I received my approval letter from Civil Service that my Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) has been approved for medical retirement. My question is, if I apply for Unemployabilty with the VA, will I lose my military retirement pay?
  8. Thank you all for your replies. I am rated 50% for depression, so hopefully my PTSD will push it to 70% which will give me a 100% combine rating
  9. Can you be awarded for PTSD and depression? I have been awarded 50% for depression, but I am also suffering from PTSD, so can you be or have anyone ever been awarded for both illnesses
  10. My claim for PTSD has been deferred to go see a VA Doctor. What should I expect to see or be ask from this visit?
  11. I went in front of the Travel Board in Atlanta on 12 February 2009 for an increase in my lower back condition, and pain down both legs. I am currently receiving 40% for lower back condition L5 - S1, and 10% for each leg because of burning pain. The Judge stated she wanted to close this case out within 30 days. My question is, when should I expect to get the rating back? Just a little history of my condition, I have had three back surgeries and the last one was a back fusion, which none of it has helped because I am still in pain.
