  1. A complaint had been filed against a Seattle VA Intern Psycologist for sexual misconduct. The abuse was later substantiated in 2010 testimony by the perpetrator. Nonetheless, VA denies any liability dispite the fact State and Federal law had been violated, as well as VA policy. Furthermore,VA staff was aware of inappropriate interactions between the Vet and Intern but failed to act. Still, they claim no responsibility. Currently, the case has escalated to the 9th Curcuit Court in San Fransisco. Any interested person can inquire by contacting the court. 'United States v. Campbell'
  2. I already had PTSD from my experiences in Iraq. I believe she did make my symptoms worse and caused me other problems. I am still within the SOL but only by about a month which is why I'm scrambling. Do you know if I can sue the State since she was licensed by them? The State SOL is 3 years rather than 2 for the Feds.
  3. I am curious if anyone can answer the question, does the VA have a Policy or Regulation which prohibits psychologists from having a relationship with their patients after they are released from the hospital?? Also, I'm curious if it matters if sex makes any difference. If there is such a policy or Reg, I'd appreciate a reference so I can look it up. I want to file a tort against VA for sexual misconduct but think the intentional tort exception would preclude me from proceeding. It is my understanding that State laws can not be applied to the US Government so I can't use that for the tort. If I can show that this psychologist was in violation of one or more policies/regulations I think I can use that. Can anyone help?
