  1. And I was whining when it took a year for me!!! http://www.veteransnewsnow.com/2012/06/20/world-war-ii-veteran-92-wins-ptsd-disability-benefits/
  2. I was talking about monthly... I have never heard of the Insurance... I just found the SMC forum, so will look there, but in the meantime, feel free to clue me in Thanks Aaron
  3. First of all, they have insane prices right now anyway, even with no discount, so check it out... I have a 40% discount on everything because I emailed them and asked if they give Veterans discounts... I hooked up many from my Unit that went back for another tour... Email them and ask if they give discounts, I highly doubt that changed, but it's been a few years since I ordered from them... Give it a shot... http://www.tcsjerky.com/
  4. Semper Fi to you, Lance Email your Congressperson / Senators NOW I was almost homeless after getting back from Baghdad in 05.... It took over a year for my claim to go through, but only about a week after I told my rep's my story... Your rep's office will get it done for you, man... They also helped me with Stop Loss... That took a couple of weeks, but they took care of it... They (Congress) weren't too happy about the email I forwarded to them from the Army stop loss saying I was denied because I was DECEASED!!! They lit a fire under the Army and VA... Our reps work for YOU AND ME... Go email them NOW Good Luck Aaron
  5. Has anyone heard of Traumatic Brain Injury being approved for Special Military Comp??? It's not listed, but seems to be in the "gray area", and from what I read it seems like the determination would be up to the regional VA... They can keep the money if they take the TBI away!!! Thanks
  6. I was 70% when I requested MRI's for my back and knees, and filled out the IU paperwork at the same time... They granted the IU, bumping me to 100%, and I didn't hear anything again about a new rating for my back and knees...
