  1. OK I checked my files and they determined that I'd went from a 10% disabling condition to a 50% disabling condition when they re-evaluted. They stated then that the 50 and 10 were combined. I don't understand it all.
  2. I always thought it was ptsd as my shrink told me thats what it is. Guess not. It's 60% though. I had a 10% rating shortly after returning from Nam for what they called a nervous condition and carried that for years and years then I ended up on the psycho ward of the local hospital about 11 years ago. One thing led to another til I ended up being re-evaluted by the VA at 60%. Been there for 9 years now. I also recieved a 10% rating for malaria for one year way back in 70.
  3. My wife is Canadian and a conditional permanent resident. Next September she will be granted full permanent resident status having been here for 2 years. Will she then become elligible for spousal benefits or does she have to be a US citizen to get that? I'm sorry if I'm asking these questions in the wrong place as I couldn't figure out where I should be posting them.
  4. Thank you. ;) The eyeglasses and hearing aid benefit is good as I have a 40% hearing loss and bifocals. Not sure what the outpatient services is about. Will have to keep researching and learning. Thanks again.
  5. First off I'm 60% rated for PTSD. I'm a GM retiree. I'm losing my dental and vision coverage to start and who knows what next. So Im looking into what the VA may cover because of my disability rating. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Kirk
