Thanks everyone. It was a long time coming that's for sure!

Well, after 10 years (9 years 10 months) I finally got my decision approval. 100% + R1 !!!!! 360k+ deposited !!!!! As a result of the way they entered thier decision (they made an error!!!), I in essence recieved 10,000 extra, they forgot to deduct the 10% I had been recieving because that claim was approved after submitting my current claim. I notified them, they said it was thier error and I'm not resposible to repay it!!! My wife now has 40k life insurance on me and will be eligible for DIC next month (if she doesn't kill me first!). The house is now paid off (on her birthday no less!!) and she has a new car to drive so she is PURTY HAPPY!!! We've purchased some property to build a new SAH home for me (much needed), just waiting on the grant and I've been trying to find a contractor that is willing to deal with the VA (ha ha).... So, overall, I'm damn happy with the decision and will now attempt to get on with a better, happier lifestyle.

My claim is currently at the AMC. Timeline: Claimed - 07-2002 (denied) NOD x3 - 10-2003 (denied) Form 9 - 01-2006 (BVA) Hearing - 03-2008 Remand - 06-2008 (AMC) C&P comp 01-13-2009 (ready to rate 1/16/09) As of today it's been sitting at the AMC for 7-1/2 months waiting to be rated.
