  1. Hi Berta, I am in need of your assistance in my husbands CUE claim. We live in Sandy Creek, could we speak together?
  2. CONGRATS! MIKE I Hear you on being happy, I was approved TDIU P & T , and if it wasn't for my SC disabilities I would be doing backflips B) !!!!! Just waiting for the deposit & letter to get my wife CHAMPVA & start her education. And as for now WE WISH ALL A HAPPY, HEALTHY,& SAFE Thanksgiving!!!! Good Luck , and CONGRATS! The Keyes Family
  3. Berta & All who posted, I recieved the call from my DAV Rep that it was approved and was under Chapter 35 DEA & YES YES YES A BIG P&T!!!!! Stated to look for the deposit by December 3rd . And I have to say Berta and all, we feel the pain & were down and out, about to lose the house, truck, and utilities were being eliminated, so when this news came, we cried with relief, but also are saddened and angry because, Why the VA could and knowingly let all of us suffer, loose families ,our pride, and leave all hanging out to dry. We feel it and welcome any post or questions from anyone. We all need to keep picking ourselves up and leaning & lending a hand to one another. My Son's friend & Graduate buddy from school was hit by a road side bombing and he lost his leg and an eye. Well if you watched Doc Phil "the special on Veterans. The young man he interviewed first was just this person. They struggled, fought, was threatened to lose all if they appear on the show, but with hard drive, strong will and support he pervailed. God Bless his mother, she never let her strength weaken. So drive on and fight this system....don't drive yourself in the ground stand up and fight. YOU FOUGHT FOR YOU COUNTRY......FIGHT FOR YOURSELF....they may think your nothing.... I felt that way, don't go there. and remember, BUT IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU ALL.....NOT ONE OF US WOULD REST AT NIGHT!!! I will never be finished with this , for our family made an Oath from this day on we will continue to lend a hand to Veterans till we take our last breath....whether visit a hospital, support a local Vet Legion, or simply lending a helping hand to another Vet. We fought yes, and prevailed, but that feeling to help other brothers & sisters never dies. Thanks again The Keyes Family
  4. Today I got the news of a life time from my DAV rep. The VA finally approved my TDIU Claim! It still hasn't sunk in yet and kind of still in shock. This is my first time posting, but live on Hadit forum studying all the advice and experience all have to give and been thru, gathering and taking it all in to build my case. I served my country from Oct 82 - Oct 2000 As a Navy Seabee, and within that time 5 years for the State department. 18 years of service and released on medical discharge, just shy of my retirement. It was a forced out because I wasn't world wide qualified( alot of traveling). I started my claim in 2000 with a 30%- lumbar injury & Hyporthyroidism 10% reopened a claim in 2002 for fibromyalgia and was denied. Applied for SSD in 2002 and was awarded the same 2003 (perm). VA Appeals board denied my claim for TDIU in 2005 but raised my SC disablities to 70%. Feburary 23rd, 2009 my DAV REP out of Buffalo NY help me reopen my claim for TDIU, after 266 days of filing I finally recieved this Great news! I just want to thank a special Lady on this forum for all her sensible, caring understanding ways about her advise she gives everyone......and that my dear is you BERTA from the beautiful hills of NNY. I read & I studied your advise & thoughts on this forum and can say many time i just wanted to give up and your forums kept me going. Good Luck to all out there. For now it is my families turn to help another down and discouraged Vet. God Bless and Thank You. The Keyes Family
