  1. retired navy, 24.5 yrs on 1 SEP 09. started the 'process' back in May 09. saw all the specialists and had my 'final' CP exam on 13 JULY 09. called two weeks after and was told the doc was still entering data...okay.... called ever two weeks and got the same answer. called QTC to see if that was normal and they said 'no' and that they would call to 'encourage' the doc. 14 SEP i called and was told it still was not done. called my VA rep and asked what i could do. he said he'd call me back the next day. he didn't (i know they're busy) so i called him back the day after. he said that it was this doc's first time and decided he didn't want to continue doing VA exams and probably didn't enter all the necc data to make it complete, and that i may have to go for another C&P. he said my 'stuff' was fedex'd somewhere (willow grove maybe) and that i shouldn't expect to hear anything for 30-40 days. backing up... ..my VA rep came to my base and went through my record jotting down what i should claim. he made a disturbing comment over the phone when i called him to ask about my CP exam... ..he said the vets from (my base) are a bit of a nuisance because they list so many claims (compared to other bases i suppose) and doctors don't want to take the time to go through all of them (it isn't $$ beneficial). i held my tongue, but wanted to point out that i didn't change a thing and everything i submitted was what HE WROTE DOWN! my question is: how can i find out the status of my claim and CP exam? the clock is ticking and i'm afraid i'm going to become one of the horror stories vice one of the success stories. thanks.
