  1. Well after 29 mo I was awarded 40%. 30 % for headaches 10% for gastro issues and 0% for muscle pain all other issues 10 of them were denied so I see a nod coming. 29 mo out of seattle. what would a provisional claim look like? I may have one. AlI can say never give up
  2. I need some help, I have a claim in for several items mostly pertaining to gulf war stuff, I have sent all requested info to the va. at the bottom of e-benifits page shows things were closed. How do i tell the va that i have submited info and look through the file? can i request a meeting to show the rater the info is in the file? this is my closed section: med evid since service needed (Irritable bowel syndrome ? ibs is a presumtive so why do they need evidance since service. I submited a dbq from va dr and several 4138s explaining all info gulf war registry exam? have had both a registry exam and c&p all the continuity items have been opened and closed several times . I have lots of medical records and submited all to the va more than once and now I don't want to confuse them more. should i submit a 4138 explaining all the closed items or 4138 saying what date the info was submitted? or resubmit all info again?
  3. I have a question for all, I was reading 91 outcomes website and it talks about a study that now says that some gulf war vets were exposed to sulfur mustard gas, my question is per cfr 38 3.316 claims basied on chronic effects of exposure to mustard gas would this link sleep apnea to gulf vets along with cfr 38 3.317 or am i going up the wrong tree? http://www.91outcomes.com/ http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/22974741 http://www.benefits....V_ii_1_SecF.doc http://www.benefits....V_ii_2_secD.doc pages 23 and 24
  4. I know mine has gone in to the gathering phase since dec 10 2010 and they keep asking for stuff that i gave them in dec 2010. seattle seems to be overwelmed. like the rest of the system seattle is bad
  5. I don't want to be a bear of bad news, if the salt lake is any thing like the seattle Ro mine has been in the gathering phase for almost 21 mo so find a hobby and relax it seems any thing with the va takes years not months

  7. thanks berta, yes I am a gulf vet I was in country from sept 26 to apr 14, given all shots and took the pills and my unit was at kkmc when the ammo depot was distroyed. I was in 1 st cav out of ft hood tx. I have gone to 3 C&P since dec 2010 and in my exam the dr basicly said all my stuff was tied to gulf service. I had basicly felt fine for 12 years after then I started falling apart. in apr of this year they sent me a vacc letter and that is all I have heard. On ebenifets the time line has gone from feb 2013 to sep 2012 and I dout it will hit that time frame especialy when I give them the ibs stuff.
  8. I have a question about presumptives last week a VA DR diagnosed me having ibs after ultrasound, colin scope and endoscope, my question is I have already filed for undiagnosed for gastro problems should I file for IBS too or just sumbmit that paperwork with all the other paperwork or will the rater figure it out ? I filed for undiagnosed problems in 2010. I also have acid reflux that I was diagnosed with 5+ years ago also filed for 2010 under undiagnoased gastro problems
  9. I am gul war 1 vet and most service officers seem lost. dose someone know good service officer in puget sound area that knows gulf war claims?
  10. Why is it that the service officers seem lost? I went in to give more evidence to support my claim and I was telling the guy what he needed to do with my claim what forms and what he needs is it time to find a new one or just go it on my own?
  11. found this looking through declassifed docs. don't know if it has already been posted. Sorry if already posted http://www.gulflink....cls14_0001.html
  12. Should I turn in a 4138 stating sleep apneia secondary to ptsd or just let the dro review say it is secondary? insominia secondary to ptsd? or add sleep distribances under cfr 3.317 unexplaned multi synmpton gulf war filing and add them to my current claim?
  13. thanks for all the info. my original came after a regersty exam and i had no clue what to file for the american legon service rep was a little bit overwhelmed and he made mistakes on my file. after a daniel I started to became more versed in the claim process and in dec 2010 I filed a for an apaiel and now I wait like all. I do know it is a long process I just hope my health lasts long enough to see it end. thanks again
  14. have a question for all, I origanaly filed for 3 items after my gulf war regestry exam for sleep apena, ptsd and insominia, I was denied in july 2010 I field a appeal on dec 2010. In dec 2010 I filed a new claim for 14 items under undiagnosed issues, my question is should I cansel my appeal and file a new claim for ptsd and sleep apenia and insomia secondary to ptsd? or can you add or change after an appeal or add these items to my second claim thanks
  15. in january I recived a letter stating i was enrolled in priorty group 6. Today I recived a bill from the va for $ 15 dollars twice and a $ 8.56 for ear drops. what the hell is up with that ?
