  1. I went to a dro once and it seemed to me like lets make a deal. Dav represented me and i didn't go in and talk to nobody. He went in came back and said ok they will give you 2 out of the three. I said no deal 3 out of 3 so they came back and said ok you fax us this info today and it is a deal and they gave me what i wanted.
  2. got my first letter from the vcaa and it says on the back. Has two boxes one that says do you have any further info check this box. The other box says if you don't have any more info check this box. Ok the va never helps me with the nexus statment. I went to the va asking for mri cat scan and they said no. I had to go to a civilian doctor. What is the point of this letter othe than covering there butt.
  3. well i went to my allergy and asthma doctor yesterday and i talked to his nurse on my intestions. She said she would take my service record make a copy and give it to him and see what he does. I just hope that he makes a statement.
  4. as i call many doctors many don't want to mess with giving an opinion or helping you with a nexus statement. How come that don't want to do this? I am willing to pay extra.
  5. That is what the doctor put in the service connected record. This happened when i was in, the problem that i am having right now is geting a nexus statement from a doctor to link it up. I talked to dr bash and he would do it but i thought the price was kindy high. I was thinking about maybe a local doctor.
  6. The doctor noticed in his report of wheezing and he gave me some albutral asthma medicine. I have documents not that say i have asthma but while in military they never diagnosed me.
  7. well i signed my paper yesterday and sent it up to to va. I am really thinking about using dr bash, take no chances. I am appealing 3 of them one for chest pain, which they said is not sc. The other is for allergies, i was at 0% but they increased it to 10%. I nod that becasue i have many food allergies on top of allergic to everything else. The other is asthma they denied it the first time saying no evidence. But if you look at my serive records doctor's oponion was that i had it. But they didn't diagnose it.
  8. ok now that i got my service records i am trying to find a local doctor that will review them. any suggestions? I have contacted dr bash but i am still waiting for a response.
  9. I finally got my service records today in the mail. I was looking through them and i noticed something, the thing that i was trying to claim which they denied for serice connection was there. To get an imo do i need some special paperwork to take to my civilian doctor. Or just his medical opinion on looking at my service record is all that is needed?
  10. gotcha thanks.
  11. gotcha thanks.
  12. ok i just talked to the dav and he said go with the dro. He seemed pretty confident. What is your opinion on that?
  13. ok when i do get my service records i just take them to my family doctor and they he makes a statement or do i have to go to a specialist? I have 60 days to make a decision which one i will choose dro or traditional appeal process. Sounds to me that if i go through the dro takes longer is that correct?
  14. I was thinking about calling the dav and asking them what they think. They have always done pretty well.
