Thanks, That is my philosophy. I have been fighting them every step of the way and never ever give up. I am still even trying to get personality disorder off my medical discharge info. Luckily, it was a secondary diagnosis and I didn't get barred from using VA or filing claims. It has been a hard road because of that diagnosis though. A lot of things get blamed on that when I go to C&P's. Just fyi, I went for testing outside VA and it indicated I do not have even a little bit of personality disorder, but VA still uses it when it comes to SC.

Hi, I am a Navy veteran. I am SC for head trauma and chronic pain. I am currently awaiting a decision from the local VA DRO. I had my hearing in Nov last year and have been working on my claim since 1987 and still going. I refuse to let the VA rate me less than my disability warrants. I haven't been able to work since 2003 due to my SC and pending SC conditions. I joined because I saw someone was also dealing with a SC due to treatment at VA. I had my gallbladder removed in July last year and it has been a nightmare, but at least I have outside insurance because I may not be here to write this without it. VA ignored my complaints (almost daily) after surgery and it turned out I stitch infections for 2 months before they popped out. My outside doc knew I had infections at my incision site but didn't know they used disolving stitches so he just kept me on antibiotics. I also knew something else was wrong and went to an outside GI doc who wouldn't give up on me. Good thing because the common duct still had stones and sludge in it and he eventually found it. When he did I ended up in the hospital for 5 days to infection that nearly killed my liver and me. I still have pain, but refuse to go to VA for it since they merely sent me to a dietician when I complained I couldn't keep food down without antibiotics for months. Anyway, that is where I am at today and if anyone has anything to offer me please do so. I hope I can help others as well. I have pretty much been through it all at VA including a 6 year employment at the local VA hospital.
