Great question and great answer!
Guess it's time to get my C-file.......I've kinda waited long enough! Just glad I didn't really need it, as the VA has done me right, as of late! But tomorrow may be a different day with the VA!

Just call the 800# and ask them what your Current rating is at this time! That way you will know either way!
Good Luck!

I have reservation at the Shades of Green for Mid March......Can I get a ticket and dining package for Disney! Seems the operator at Shades of Greens states that they don't offer the dining, I kinda knew that already.....but can I buy the Dining with my tickets without staying in an ACTUAL Disney resort??? I know Shades of Green is on Disney but can I get Dining with my tickets! Hope that makes sense!
Thanks!

No, no deposit yet. The decision latter does not have a date on it, probably because it's a draft letter. Also, I heard it takes a while when it's over 25K because of the 3 signatures, and my calculations came over 25K.
I'm 95% sure that he IS approved! I've gotten other veterans information in my award letter that just didn't belong there........VA is known for that!
Glad to see that he will finally get the benefits he/WE deserve! Best of Luck!

He writes under, What evidence did we use to make decision?
"In reaching my decision, I considered the following evidence: The combined effects of long-term unemployment, (I have not worked since 2005) living in a rural area with limited employment opportunities, and the interpersonal difficulty you experience as a result of your PTSD make any level of employment very unlikely at this time. Regretfully, even with the consideration of a self employment goal, it does not appear that you would have the mental stamina or the interpersonal flexibility required to formulate a business plan, deal effectively with customers, manage conflict and maintain accurate business records. These skills are required in abundance for business success either at the gainful employment level or for marginal, supplemental income."
You are in good shape to be granted IU! That letter is what it took for me to be granted IU! Once I rec'd that letter I was granted IU the very next week!
Stay positive, Evidence is the key!

EDIT: Are you currently on SSDI? Have you applied for SSDI?

This exam in Feb, are you sure it's a C&P exam for IU or do you have another claim pending?
To answer your question, YES, they can take it away as quickly as they award it!
God Bless!

IMHO......I would go to VOC REHAB and schedule a meeting with a counselor. I would tell the counselor that your SC conditions are making you unemployable. If the counselor writes a letter stating that you are unemployable.
POOF.....that's all you need for new evidence for your IU claim! It works, this is how I was approved for IU!
Best of Luck!

Dont do like many do and live payday to payday but instead live your life as a squirrel, squirriling away nuts in the rich times knowing that when it snows, you will still have nuts to dig up.
Great Advice!

Thanks Carlie.......I'm planning on taking my family to Walt Disney World. Do you have any other tips or advice on getting the best experience! Thanks again!
BTW.....Congrats Chu! Happy for ya!

Like John said......this may be a good thing! If the counselor finds you to be unemployable, he/she can write a letter stating just that! So this may be a good thing, I would go and be honest about your SC conditions!

The fight you have is one that is only for you since you will not get any more money. you will only hold up other veterans. but if you must keep it up.
Best thing is to relax, stop the fight, and find something to do that you will enjoy. I enjoy helping veterans with their claims. Been doing it for 16 years.
I relax with my photos and fishing.
Yes I could file for 6 other thing that are all a presumptive to my time in service but I do not since I am 100%.
IMHO.......SO TRUE!
I have other conditions in which are service related and would be connected but I refused to put myself thru the whole VA process again! For each their OWN! I suppose..........just say'n
