Tbird, could you, when you have time, alphabetize the new VA BWN AO Ship's list they just released:
https://www.va.gov/shiplist-agent-orange.pdf
It was great that you did that for the July list and saved MUCH time for all who needed to find their ships.
Kurt's wife will try to listen to the archived radio show Kurt did----tomorrow night here.
He helped SO many and we were fortunate to have him as a member. He stopped helping with claims because his disabilities got worse and worse.
But his work will continue to help Thailand vets and Any veteran who was exposed to AO, anywhere, who can prove their exposure , via their MOS and their installations use of AO and who has an AO presumptive.Like the two AO CONUS vets did.
Thank you Tbird!!!
Berta

Oh-So sorry Tbird- I thought you had some sort of program that could alphabetize stuff....
Don't take your time to do it Tbird-
Maybe when I get time I can see what was added to the July list-
It is really OK as it stands here because any potential BWN vet will willingly go through the parts that are specific to their type of vessels.
(Most of the AO ships have been put on the list solely due to BWN vets who proved how close they were to the shoreline, with their deck logs.)
Thanks anyhow Tbird- you have enough to deal with as it is.

Please don't post claims stuff in my profile page.I don't read or answer claims stuff there.

Again we are told by Tbird to put members on our Ignore list-
That means members can give inaccurate advice here that we are supposed to ignore.
Much -but not all, of my evidence for my OGC complaint on Alex, is from hadit, and I have hard copy and direct links to it here. I am preparing the complaint as a legal brief.
No rush because VA Central Office is still dealing with the Covid issue-and unavailable per OGC to accept snail mail, which I prefer over email to them with pdfs.
And I included the post here whereby Alex threatened to take legal action against me... what a laugh- I LOVE Litigation! But it shows how he tries to bully people ,when his advice is wrong.
It has occurred to me that the OGC might be alarmed at the way we are treated, here, when we correct bad advice, not substantiated by established VA case law.
To ignore bad info---- means hadit condones the erroneous info.
To correct bad information -----means we are chastised.
I wonder what the OGC will think of this web site, after reading the way I and Broncovet had been treated, not to mention the two very good members we lost due to Alex Graham.
My future at hadit will depend on the results of my OGC complaint.
I am hoping for a public apology here from Asknod to this site
-and a promise from him to try to understand the difference between BVA CUE and RO CUE,and the fact that one can file a CUE on a recent decision, from the VARO,
and possibly a donation to the site ( I have church business and can possibly access Pacer today, to confirm the 8 thousand dollar donation he made to WWP, when they sued him.If have statements from him on that and from others but I want to find more proof, as I have only part of the consent order from USDC.
If not today, no rush, as I understand he himself accused others of giving bad advice here recently and I have to find that thread.
Also the OGC will not take kindly the fact that he called a DRO from Mississippi VARO a "Bitch" but that is from his web site site, linked to hadit.
Alex should be very concerned about this complaint - but I think hadit should be concerned as well.
I have said here before that we get bad advice as it is from those lousy vet reps, and even from RO's who manipulate the regulations that control them and us, as claimants.Even vet lawyers sometimes give poor advice. And None of us know it all.
We can control the VA with their own regulations.
But allowing erroneous information to be published here without being allowed to correct it, or if we do correct it- we get a lot of crap when we try-(I had some serious incidents like that here, over the past 20 plus years )
falls Very negatively on the purpose of hadit....to give claimants the Best advice we can give them.

It regarded a new member (Ann Bracey) and I moved it to the DIC forum. Kay'2009 's post was at hadit already.
The site has beome so large that sometimes I have to go to my profile to find my past replies-if nothing else works- or threads the same vet started in different topic areas ( frustrating)and the search feature brings up way too much to go through sometimes.
I have missed probably many profile questions over the years-
I dont see the point of joining a public web site, where many of us might need to help with the claim, and as I mentioned to Ann, when I moved her post to the DIC forum ( New Member needs help) our public advice and replies might help others.
Actually that is a fact when members join who have already succeeded in their claims, because, as a guest they have taken the time to read the info they needed to succeed.

PLEASE ask your questions in the MAIN forums!
Hadit is a Public forum and every post and reply there might help someone else.
-
PLEASE do not post a claims question in my profile.
I only read them if the notification dings when I am on line- and you will get more help in the public forum-
-
Please post claims questions at the public forum.
I probably won't even notice the question here and it will go unanswered by me...
-
Please post claims questions in the public forums.... that way others can read the question and others might need the same answers.
-
Please post in the main forums-
Your question will get more attention there from others.
I only go to my profile as a last resort (when I cannot find on the main forums what I am looking for)

I did message T-bird about hoping to start a topic that would stimulate contributions from members. My post about " uniting " was one attempt at doing that and when I check back I see the " Steppenwolf " replied to "Steppenwolf" and that's it on that post. No one seems to have any thoughts or comments. That is okay I suppose but there is a part of me that thinks ( I am saying this with tongue in check ) that the zombie apocalypse is not about flesh eaters but is about brain eaters and APATHY.

Don't mean to offend anyone so I would like to explain. Yet my attempt to post this way because I am having problem with simple typing input is resulting in posting this way. At the same time after timing out I had copied to clipboard my post that would have otherwise been lost. Then I sign back in and can't find this post until I scroll down to the bottom and find your post with 3 replies and I know that is me. I click on that, paste my post, and when I go to state a follow up just hitting the space bare triggers me out of the body of the post and down to the bottom of the page. I manage to change that around by putting the cursor on the "o" in the word "to" and creat a run on word which I later managed to correct.
But just saying this here take me away from what I REALLY want to say and to ask YOU or any legal expert here on hadit.

I did reply to this vet, but asked him to post in the main forum, and I posted the DEA pamphlet here for him in the main forum.
I am not anti social , I just feel that this is public forum and what helps one vet, can help another as well. We get hundreds of guests here ,who often jon to tell us they succeeded , based on what they read in the public forums.

Please post questions in the main public forums.
That way others can advise and others can get help with similar problems.,

PLEASE POST QUESTIONS ON THE MAIN FORUM

I have to post this on my profile from time to time--newbies often join and then post on my profile-
and I ask them to post on the public forums here instead -because that is where they will get the most input.
Also I thought my personal messenger thing was closed for years but have gotten some personal messages recently-from a member.
I do not think personal messages are a good idea but I did give them the link to what info they need to read.
What I mean is say someone sends you a PM and you reply but the info is incorrect----- who will correct it?
This PM was a situation whereby some veterans appeared to have given the member the wrong info-
I dont think any of those veterans are members here.
-
Ms Berta mention
''What I mean is say someone sends you a PM and you reply but the info is incorrect''----- who will correct it?''
If I understand what you mean here if they send you a PM and the information is not correct then you would need to correct it if its a PM sent to you, by reply, it would be up to the person that PM you to read it
Also Ms Berta you can click on the ''Ignore future'' button if you don't want a certain someone to pm you or read their post.
Just letting members know you do not read PM's After that post has been on hadit a few days and new members come to hadit they more than likely won't see your post.
I suggest you post it at least ponce a week.
Thank You For All You Do Here On Hadit..your help is a God Send to these Veterans.

Carlie- was the battered woman's post removed? or moved elsewhere? now I cant find it
I think it was in the Introduce self forum.
I had awful flashbacks when I read her post but wanted to at least pass on some contact info for her-for National Domestic Violence hot line or to contact her local police dept as they all have access to battered women shelters. She is in a dangerous sit...
