  1. Can a veteran recieve concurrent crsc and iu?
  2. I just got off the phone with the 800-827-1000 # in which I was inquiring about my TDIU claim which has been in the "Decision Phase" since Jan 3, 2011. It was my understanding that the national average was 16 -27 days give or take depending on the claim specifics in order to complete this phase. I was informed by the veterans rep that this information was based on last years standards and that as of Nov 2010 there were SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSAND more claims placed on the VA RO's plates and now the decision phase takes several months to complete. I do'nt know how accurate this is but I thought I would pass it along to my fellow veterans regardless. Semper Fi! Gunny.
  3. Thanks for theinfo....gunny. P.S. in my original post I said 10% ptsd.....it should have said 70%.
  4. I was recently awarded SSDI for an anxiety disorder (PTSD) but all my award letter stated was my disability date and my monthly award. I am currently rated 80% SC for 10% tinnitis, 10%HBP and 10% PTSD. I recently filed for an increase on the PTSD because life's been rough lately and was told (or maybe read) that I could get a letter from SSA stating exactly WHY I got SSDI in the first place (in my case PTSD). I spent 3 1/2 hours waiting at the lcal SSA just for them to look at me like I was from another planet when I asked about it and then they gaffed me off and said it was'nt possible. She supposedly checked with the supervisor. I really wanted that letter to send in as additional evidence on my PTSD claim as I would think it would be looked at favorably. Can anyone give me some of their personal experience regaratter.....it was be deeply appreciated.......thanks!! gunny.
