My claims are going on 1 yr and 6 months since the time I filed. Been taking so long due to the months it took to schedule these exams. I had completed all my CP Exams with LHI contractor, then VA requested I redo all those same exams with VES contractor. 1 exam due to DBQ questionnaire changes 1 exam due to it being conducted over a year ago Another exam which was done 4 months ago, also had to be redone. Anyone else deal with this lately? First time I ever claimed it took less than a year, completed CP Exams once then received a decision.
Folks: Does anyone know how long it takes for a QTC or Contractor CP Exam records to be put back into your VA medical records for care? I had a Cardiac Echocardiogram done a couple of months ago and the raters have already made a (lowball) rating on it. I know that VBA takes possession electronically for the CP Exam purposes and rates it once it's completed by the doctor. Does anyone know how long it takes to get back into your VA general medical records so a VA Doctor can view it for treatment-if needed? I know that the ultimate purpose of the exam is to get a rating but I really want to get a copy of it. I wonder if I could ask my VA Doctor to pull it up and give me a copy of the results. Besides, the initial rating is over anyway? Anyone have experience with this sort of thing or been able to obtain records like this without going to FOIA which is going to probably take a very long time? Thanks Rootbeer22
