  1. I served in the military in 1996. During basic training I was injured. 1. I applied for disability due to the injury in 2000 and was denied then again in 2002. In 2002 I never received a letter stating the denial. I called several times and was told that I was denied. In 2016 I went back to apply because the back & neck injury that I received in the service is really server now. When I went to reapply the lady at the VA Hospital told me that I was NEVER denied. That I was just rated at 0%. She said that I should have been told whenever my condition got worse to apply for an inc
  2. Dear Veterans, I just received another denial letter from the VA for my Left Knee and Sleep Apnea service connection. I'm currently working with a VA Claims Specialist in Long Island, New York to help me with the claims process. He has told me we will have to file a Notice of Disagreement / De Novo Review for the Left Knee and Sleep Apnea. He also advised me this process could take up to 1-2 years. This is unfortunate and I want to make sure the VA has everything they need to give me the proper decision. I've attached pictures of my original claims from July 2013, and the deci
  3. I don't know whether it was BUD/S or SAR School, but I'm pretty sure the logs weren't easy on my back or shoulders and neither were the mile long swims with heavy fins. The dirty waters I swam in didn't help with the GERD, and the PTSD was the first thing the VA diagnosed me with and it took them almost 3 years to convince me I had it. Yet, no service connection can be found for any of these things, and these pics are just of the training!! Do they simply "DONT GIVE A xxxx?" or are they just plain "STUPID?"
