Hello everyone, My name is Laura Rogiers, and I am involved in the establishment of a new charity that caters to connecting US veterans from across the globe. As part of my work, I am looking for veterans, specifically pilots, who now work in the pharmaceutical industry. This interest stems from the fact that my grandfather served as a pilot during the Second World War and the cause is close to my heart. Veteran Needs Help
Fat posted a question in VA Disability Compensation Benefits Claims Research Forum
Talked to a female veteran whom was discharged from the National Guard, basic training, after fracturing her hip. She says she still has problems from the hip fracture 7 years later. She wasn't aware of VA disability. I forwarded numbers to the American Legion and DAV to ask questions. She said, since I wasn't in for 180 days, I thought I didn't qualify for any benefits. The veteran currently doesn't have health insurance, but most municipalities have a indigent care fund for the uninsured. Any suggestions on veterans short of 180 day criteria? Any other bene -

Home Depot And Veterans

I just found out thru a friend that Home Depot will rebuild a vets home if they did not have insurance to cover the loss. It's called the Home Depot Foundation. They will rebuild it for free. A friend's parents house just burned down a couple of weeks ago and she is trying to help them find some help because they didn't have property insurance (dumb) and she told me about it. Unfortunately, her dad or mother is not a vet. You do have to be a vet to use the program. I don't know what the particulars are on the program.
