A local Kansas City man is suing the VA for $35 million in a malpractice suit, in my words basically, he was treated for 10 years of being misdiagnosed for a mental condition that he didn’t actually have, and it cost him his pilots career. Anyone can google it for accurate details. I made medical treatment record requests while on active duty months before my discharge, but were told they were all lost in transit from Vietnam, when I was medivac’d out. What I did receive at discharge was Form DA 3349 showing P-3 permanent profile for permanent defects under “physical capacity and stamina

I am so grateful for all the assistance and helpful advice that I have received from the many caring people on this site. Approximately a year ago, I was finally awarded TDIU (IU) through the VA after a long six year battle. As a result I am entitled to all the "bells and whistles," it provides. Fast forward to May 17th of 2017, when I was scheduled to receive my much needed dental implants. I went in for the procedure and met a young dental intern "doctor" who looked to be around 23 years of age. In spite of my nervousness, I allowed her to proceed with the surgery. These medical students typ

That would be good information, especially if their reports has caused you to get a reduction letter for your disability. Neurosurgeon John Henry Schneider racked up more than a dozen malpractice claims and settlements in two states, including cases alleging he made surgical mistakes that left patients maimed, paralyzed or dead. He was accused of costing one patient bladder and bowel control after placing spinal screws incorrectly, he allegedly left another paralyze

Is any available frequenting this site or can I get a referral from someone. The case involves prescribing a medication, Tegretol, for "atonic seizures" that was contra indicated, made my condition worse and then the West Los Angeles VA RMC Seizure Clinic refused to change medications. When It made me so bad, after 5 months, that I weaned myself off an quit the drug they still wouldn't provide a different drug and instead diagnos

First let me say that I can't tell you how grateful I am for a site/forum such as this! As I'm sure you all know it can get kind of dicey out hear trying to go up against the feds/VA without sufficient information and support. So, to all of you who have served and participate, THANK YOU!!! I am in the process of filling complaints against the Denver VA Medical Center for an assortment of violations ranging from illegal use of the "disruptive behavior note" as a means of patient retaliation for filing a complaint with the patient advocates office to withholding of care, violations of stand
