Question

http://nvlsp.org/images/VAFedCirHaasBrief.pdf

The VA brief was posted today at NVLSP.

NVLSP will be sending their brief by May 19th and then VA has chance to rebutt----

I sure hope they resolve this issue soon and lift the stay- as wellas clarify that Haas is still the Law of the Land.

This came up on Stardust Radio with Mike Harris last night-

As a call- in to this new vets show- I again stated that Blue and Brown Waters should definitely file their claims.

If they are on presumptive list -one thing there but for others not on the presumptive list-they should still file the claim anyhow- yet it could take a costly IMO from an environmental specialist to come close to any award-

Still I remember when choracne and PN were the only 2 AO diseases-

with such restrictive regs that I never met any vet who did get choracne or PN under the initial requirements.(1993)

The AO regs can always change with additions of new conditions. As they have since the early 1990s.

Knowledgeable people who don’t have time to read all posts may skip yours if your need isn’t clear in the title. I don’t read all posts every login and will gravitate towards those I have more info on. Use paragraphs instead of one massive, rambling introduction or story.

Again – Make it easy for others to help. If your question is buried in a monster paragraph, there are fewer who will investigate to dig it out.

    exclamation-mark-orange-gold.jpg How To Post

    Post a clear title like

Need help preparing PTSD claim or “VA med center won’t schedule my surgery” instead of  ‘I have a question."

This gives members a starting point to ask clarifying questions like “Can you post the Reasons for Denial of your claim?

    Note:

Your first posts on the board may be delayed before they appear as they are reviewed. The review requirement will usually be removed by the 6th post. However, we reserve the right to keep anyone on moderator preview.

This process allows us to remove spam and other junk posts before hitting the board. We want to keep the focus on VA Claims, and this helps us do that.

You’ve just been rated 100% disabled by the Veterans Affairs. After the excitement of finally having the rating you deserve wears off, you start asking questions. One of the first questions that you might ask is this: It’s a legitimate question – rare is the Veteran that finds themselves sitting on the couch eating bon-bons … Continue reading
