How Do You File For An Increasse

Hi,

How Do You File For An Increase? Is there a special Form you have to fill out (if so what form), or do you just write a letter telling them you want an increase and why.

Form 21-4138 -- Keep it simple, request increase, list & provide copies of medical documentation to award increase - per diagnostic codes in 38 CFR

Schedule of Rating Disabilities:

Date and sign form, put claim # on each page, submit copies to regional office in person if possible, get date stamped copy of form 21-4138 or send certified copy RRR or submit thru your designated service organization.

Thanks Carlie, what through me off is because 21-4138 saids Statement In Support Of Claim and nothing about Increase.

I just IRIS the ro on April 2nd and they sent me back an email saying they would send me the paper work in a couple of months for the increase. Don't know if this way is quicker or not but guess I will find out.
