Attention All A Must Read About Your Local Va

spike

Question

With all do respect to the people who are in the VA who try really hard to make things better, if there are people here. I hope people read this because I am furious. In Buffalo VA alone, 5 VA execs totaled bonuses of 85,000 in bonuses.

Here is the major problem VA Execs were on the board and giving themselves or each other bonuses....currently (as of today) the Office of Personnel Management is investigating....and a Senator from NY proposes a freeze on the bonuses until the VA reduces the backlog to 100,000 claims.

Check it out. I have uploaded it as an attachment.

I TRIED TO CALL KURT SCHLEGEIMILEN OF VA MED OF RENO WHO IS ON THE LIST SINCE THIS IS THE VA HOSPTAL I GO TO. HE GOT 19,000 AND ALL I WANTED TO ASK HIM IF HE THINKS HE DESERVES IT. BUT THE OPERATOR SAID I COULD NOT TALK WITH HIM I HAD TO TALK TO HIS REP. I ASKED WHY AND THEY SAID IT WAS HIS POLICY. SO TAKE THE TIME AND LOOK AT THE LIST AND IF YOU LIVE IN THE STATE WERE THESES ASSH@LES WORK CALL THEM AND ASK DO THINK YOU DESERVE IT WITH 600,000 BACKLOG CLAIMS. I AM CURIOS TO SEE IF 1, YOU CAN GET THROUGH 2, IF YOU WILL GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER. ODDS ARE NO ON BOTH. BUT IF ENOUGH OF US CALL IT WILL SEND A MESSAGE.

calnight,

Good job!

FYI, Buffalo VA created the front entrance into a garden for VA employees only. With cameras and a gated security with badge swipes.....and Vets are told they are not allowed to use it.

Spike- is it Senator Schumer?

Or Senator Clinton-------

I have mail for Schumer-

asking him to support a bill to amend the VCAA-

I didn't mail it yet------I have to copy my supporting evidence-------

I would LOVE to give this a little push if it was Chuck Schumer------

Then again Senator Clinton responded to me very fast on a vets issue some time back by email-

please let me know who is asking for the freeze.

I think it is a disgrace and I havent read the whole list yet but I sure hope our Ms. Terrill isnt on it.

Representative John Hall (D-NY). I know that OPM is also investigating.

She IS ON THE list -------10,000 bucks !!!!

I am just LIVID about this-

The Buffalo RO is an unconscionable violator of the VCAA and she gets 10,000 bucks to allow that to continually occur and to deny veterans their basic Duty to Assist rights.

I am writing to both of our Senators -this is an outright DISGRACE!

If you see the name of your director of your VARO on this list and you dont feel they deserve the bonus I suggest you all protest this------

I am still getting email on this latest fiasco of the VA------

this is not going over well with veterans who have waited for years for some of these RO employees to learn how to read.

Hi,

I didn't see where anyone at the Salem Virginia Medical Center received anything or the Huntington, West Virginia Regional Office. If I over looked them, please post and let me know.

Thanks,

Josephine

Joesphine,

After review of the Bonus Info, here is what I found.

Smith, John 20,000 Roanoke VA

Cox, William E 9,000 Clarksburg WVA

Husson, Gerald P 14,000 ??? Forgot where in VA

Pamp, Michael 14,000 Richmond, VA

Rivera, Fernando 19,000 Martinsburg, WVA

Seiler, Edward 14,000 Huntington WV

which is 6 people at 84,000 in the Virginia States alone, and not to stay that Washington DC is close by and there are tons of people in Washington DC

I sure would like to know what Roanoke and Huntington were getting bonus for. All they do is sit and deny claims. Some may disagree with me, but this has been my experience.

Thanks so much,

Josephine

    Post a clear title like

Need help preparing PTSD claim or “VA med center won’t schedule my surgery” instead of  ‘I have a question."

This gives members a starting point to ask clarifying questions like “Can you post the Reasons for Denial of your claim?
