Brown envelope showed up today. I was increased 10% went from 50 to 60. What i dont understand is it says 10% for each leg wouldnt that make me 70%. Is there anything i can do to get a increase without going through the whole long waiting process again?

They probably consider the legs as bilateral? hard to say but obviously they combined the %s under VA math.

If your SC disabilities render you unemployable you should file for TDIU- however that will need clear convincing medical evidence that you cannot work due to SC-

You can file a NOD -but there is nothing I know of that can get you a faster and higher award-

Even if you have considerable evidence that could show either TDIU is warranted or higher percenrages for leg disability-(you didnt mention what that disability is-PN?) you could ask for reconsideration -then again- that used to be a faster way of getting a proper decision-but I have been waiting for about 8 months for a reconsideration claim to be resolved.

I only recommend asking for reconsideration when the veteran has significant medical evidence that was not considered in the decision and which would definitely warrant higher rating under the Schedule of ratings.

With the decision they probably sent you the rating schedule for the leg disability and what evidence is needed for higher rating.
