Sent in a couple of NODs, do I need to fill out a form to follow up these typed letters?

If so, does anyone know the form number?

Thanks Guys/Gals!

A NOD- should disagree with the decision and then state why-

If you have additional evidence to attach to it-or evidence they may have listed in the decision but did not consider in the narrative- bring that all up in the NOD-

go over your VCAA letter to see if you have complied with what they needed and also if they got what they said they would get-and used it as evidence-

On the old Prodigy vets BBS they always made the point that the NOD should disagree with anything the vet feels is wrong- such as rating level, lack of SMC consideration whatever- as the VA will consider all you dont disagree with as accepted by you.

I assume you filed NOds on separate issues? that involved separate decisions?

The Buffalo VARO only gets to NODS after a year has passed. They are color co-ordinated to the month they were filed in.

Years ago I had some decisions turn on the NOD.In months.

Things have changed-

Berta,

Yup, two seperately written and seperately mailed NODs. Same decision from the VA, but two different issues in the decision that I disagree with.

So I guess that the typed letter(s) to the VARO is all that I do?

A year, huh? Why does that not surprise me?
