Question

I was informed that I have a C & P for feet problems which the VA farmed out to QTC Medical.

I found out the doctor they are sending me to is internal med not poditary!

Why would they do that?

Thanks

Its their cheap way of doing business. To the VA an MD is an MD. If you have anything to show the Doc be sure and do it. My foot exam was done by an intern but it turned out I got 30% for pes planus or flat feet.

Pete53,

I guess that makes sense - they are trying to save money. The strange thing is that I gave them the VA poditarist and three civilian podiatrist doctor notes, etc. All say the only relief will be from major surgery. That would take 6 months for each foot and basically put me down for the count for a whole year. I want to avoid that.

I just can't believe I need another C&P and that its not with a specialist!

Thanks.
