>Allen, believe me if you call the Directors number and ask to speak to Diane Winston and tell them you must speak to her about your claim, this guy will put you through.

Always,

Josephine

*********************************************

I called Director Russo's office and they put me through to Diane Winston yesterday.

I think she thought I was lying from the beginning because of the computer date of my claim being received by the AMC and entered as,"ready to rate" status". That took a great deal of time to convince her I wasn't lying to her. She kept trying to get me to call the 1-800 line, but finally started to check out what I was saying.

According to her, the AMC computers show the date my claim went to "ready to rate" status was Oct 6, 2007. She kept saying we just received your remand and could understand why I was claiming the AMC has had it for 17 months without beginning to correct the errors.

Some how, she was able to view the BVA remand from June-2006. And I was finally able to convince her that the correct date of ready to rate status was June 22,2006.

I than asked if she had ever heard of a Dr Bash?

She said she had and said he is a specialist of some kind. I then let her know if someone properly viewed the three IMO's the BVA is remanding the claim for, that my claim can be finalized. I said my claim has been at the AMC since it opened in 2003 and has a 1998 docket number.

She finally asked for my number to call me back . She said I don't want you to have to wait another 5 days to hear something. Maybe she could see that I called last Monday?

The AMC computers no longer show I have a claim for multiple sclerosis.

When they want to, they can hang you up for a long time, just by false entries into the computers.

I called at 11:15 am yesterday.

As much as I heard, "you should call the 1-800 number", I have no faith in hearing a return call or a resolve to the stall tactics If I do.

VA is as VA does.

VA is as VA does.

Allen,

I believe that Diane Winston does exactly what she says that she will do.

I called her just last week about my Advancement on the Docket and of course, she acted ignorant to everything that I was saying. She said that all veterans received that letter from the BVA.

I told her absolutely no. I said if you want me to sent you a fourth copy, I will be happy too.

She said no, that is not necessary, and I will look for your letter signed by Nancy Robin, to expediate the claim.

Sure enough, I call this morning and she did what she said that she would do.

My claim has been rated and is with the Rating Supervisor.

Allen,

I have called her more than once. If you do not receive a return telphone call.

Just sent an email to the address that I sent to you. Just paste as it is and send it to Ken Smith.

Tell him everything and your conversation with Ms. Winston.

No, I do not work for the VA and have never worked for the VA in any way, shape or form.

I am just a veteran trying to get through the system.

As I told Paul, I was doing a search on my computer and the fax and the email address came up in front of my computer screen.

Always,

(Josephine)

Betty

Wow!! Congratulations! that is great news. I am so happy that they finally rated your claim.

Time to move on to a new Chapter in your life.

Allan

The AMC people kept telling me that they just got my claim in April 2007, I said no way, you ve had it since June 2005 when it was remanded from the BVA.

The Director's office finally yes, it s been here that long.

I think they send it out to another agency, any agency, then when it comes back, it is logged in as newly received, so that the clock starts again.

My claim was rated November 19th, I m waiting for the decision letter.

Fighting with the VA and chatting on Hadit is turning into a hobby for me.

Happy Trails

Paul

Allan,

I think that they finally realized that I am not ready to die yet and thought, we might as well shut her up.

I don't think that they can take the heat! I have gone about as high as I can go with Management above them.

They may give me a denial, but at least they will be rid of me.

I will be happy to turn it over to a Lawyer, for I have completed all the ground work for him/her.

Keep bugging them and you will get there also, for they can't take it.

Always,

Josephine

Paul,

As I told Allen, I don't think that they can take the heat.

If they give me a denial, I will come back in and fight them more.

I think it is the almost 30 years retro they owe me.

The pension declared me 100% disabled and unemployable to 1983 and I filed my first claim in 1978.

They did not secure those " Psychiatric Records". and I did it for them in 2004.

The BVA does give me credit for this in the remand.

If I understand would minds differ? With the both " New and Material Evidence" Dr. Mxxx did and I do not think that is what the VA did not like.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Always,

(Josephine)

Betty
