DDD of the lumbar spine 20% IBS 10% fracture toe 0% scar 0% 20 months of retro at 30% w/spouse and 2 children. Before Dr. Bash's IMO they wouldn't give me the time of day. After I asked for a reconsideration my claim was in the rating board for 30 days but with the rater for only 1 day. Berta was right, evidence wins claims. If you agree with that rating-that is good- but if these conditions in any way get worse- by all means file a claim for higher rating- the decision will come with the way they determined the ratings- A good IMO is an investment-I am very happy for you to finally get this award- and I hope others here are encouraged when the VA blatantly ignores our IMOs. I have seriously considered how I could get my IMos printed on the toilet paper that the raters use in the heads at the Buffalo VARO-they can sit there and as they fold the toilet paper to use it -they could see my probative evidence from Dr. Bash- then again only one more way for the VA to put my IMos into the crapper. I think they are fair and it lays the groundwork in case my conditions worsen. Thanks for the well wishes.
