Probably not unless the SSD was less than NSC Pension than you could but the VA would deduct the SSD amount and you would get a $ 931 a month total

VA Non-Service Connected Pension will be cut dollar for dollar against the amount you draw from SSD. If SSD doesn't pay as much money as the VA Pension equals, then it possibly would be better to go for the SSD and take the cut from the VA Pension (both together would equal the same amount total as VA Pension), since with SSD you could get free Medicare Part A and be eligible to buy Part B if wanted.
