Exit Physical

Recommended Posts

On one of my exit physicals from 1980 on #34 U-G System, Abnormal is checked, then written to the side it states #34 CIRC ,that is all it says. I googled it and came up with cytokeratin-positive interstitial reticulum cells (CIRC). Does anyone know what it is? and complications.

Trying to prove my claim for DM II and looking at all SMR's with a fine tooth comb.

Thanks

The Discharge Physical Exam is postive evidence; good on you for studying your claims file. I would think your exit exam would reference lab tests and/or service medical record entries. Is there any other reference in your SMR's? Abnormal CIRC's would suggest sarcomas.

Search PUBMED for CIRC's and diabetes: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/

No other reference in my SMR's that I can find, just on that one physical, have 4 others and no mention on them. Has me wondering why the Navy did not tell me.

Thanks Wings for he link

Boats,

U-G System means urogenital (UG) system.

Abnormal Cytokeratin-positive interstitial reticulum cells (CIRC) of the UG system (possible prostate).

Do your SMR's show any laboratory testing? ~Wings

gastrointestinal (GI) and urogenital (UG) system

The SMR's I have no lab reports in that timeframe, later years yes. Maybe my C file will have it,have been waiting on a copy of it since 08/2007.

Thanks
