Many Veterans overlook this program which is a lot more generous than many VA Programs. Many get a computer but it is designed to help a Veteran enjoy their lives better and can also pay for home improvements that they will pay for including air conditioning or bathroom repairs.

Also don't forget that if you need bars for bathrooms the prostetics department will do it just for the asking at least that is so in Dallas.
