Attorney Wants Diagnosis for Secondary Complication to Rated Condition; Must it be through VA?
Cat4Christ777 posted a question in IMO Independent Medical Opinion,
Originally, this secondary condition was claimed as 'migraines,' but while it may begin as a migraine with a complication, the VA can--and has, more than once--made it so much worse (pain-wise). If it does not qualify as a migraine, then my attorney and I need to come up with a different diagnosis. It's definitely a neurological issue, possibly 'occipital neuralgia,' as the condition meets the criteria of its definition, here: https://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/occipital+neuralgia.-

VA Math, Confusing, Right? Calculate Your Final Rating Percentage!
Tbird posted a blog entry in Tbirds Blog,
10 + 50 = 50 and other VA math mysteries explained.
VA Math It’s Not Your Mother’s Arithmetic
“VA Math” is the way that the VA computes combined impairment ratings for multiple conditions in a Veteran’s compensation benefits claim – and it requires that you unlearn real math. When a Veteran has multiple medical conditions that are service-connected and the Veterans Affairs rates each at a different percentage, it would seem that they should just add up your percentages to get to a total body impairment rating.-

"Does any Vietnam Veteran and especially Vietnam Nurses know of or suffered from a Damaged to the Sciatic Nerve caused by improper inoculation from GG Shots? When I received a GG Shot prior to a trip to Vietnam in 1993 I had a Vietnam Nurse giving the shots advice me that the shots were given lower on the Buttocks, because they discovered that during Vietnam that they were giving the shots to high and causing damage to the Sciatic Nerve! I also had a former Nurse that served in Vietnam advise me of the same problems with the shots at a VVA Leadership Meeting in the mid to late 90's.
Anyone with such information can contact me at my E-mail address! VA is denying that the problem ever existed!
I also need information from any Vietnam Veteran that has suffered from a Parasite problem from their service in S. E. A.. In the late 80's, after over 20 years of suffering from itching and rash on my back and chest, a Dermatologist finally took a scraping and discovered that I had Parasites Indigenous to South East Asia. The VA also claims that they had never heard of that one either.
As I said, anyone with information that can help me, their help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Rick "
