Question

i received a hand injury while unhooking a tow bar from an f-4 in 1974.it tore several ligaments. it remained a burden for many years after until 1996 the va hospital in okc performed surgery and repaired what they called "Dupuytrens contracture"

they never paid me anything for the 3 months i was not able to use my hand or work per dr.orders nor did they tell me that was possibly compensible for sc.

what is my approach to this at this time as i have other claims in at this time.is it doable to include this?

You should file a claim on it---

your retro will be back to the date of the claim so best not to wait-

But do you still have residuals from this that they can rate? If the hand injury and surgery has successfully healed there may be nothing they could rate.

You could have potentially gotten a temp 10-0% rating on this if you had requested it at time of the surgery-

"gee not even one thread of advice"
