Question

Can anyone give me a search format that will limit my search to find "Allen V Principi". I try searching but I get hundreds of hits and sometimes over a thousand hits. This is related to Berta's response to me in my previous post. Any help would be appreciated.

If you exclude the words denied and/or remand- under the main search thing- less will pop up but they most lielkly will be awarded claims.

such as:

"Allen v. Principi, 237 F.

3d 1368, 1381 (Fed. Cir. 2001). In this case, the medical

evidence of record shows that the veteran's alcohol and drug

abuse disabilities were secondary to a service-connected

disability. As such, service-connection is also warranted

for any disabilities that are secondary to the veteran's

alcohol and drug abuse disabilities."

The Allen v Principi decision is located at the USCAVC site.

Their address is http://search.vetapp.gov/

Search for

"Allen, Appellant" and Principi

and you'll get a list of 18 CAVC decisions. Make sure to put quotation marks around "Allen, Appellant". This cuts the number of decisions you have to wade through from 197 to 18.

Good luck.
