In spite of this handicap, they applied themselves to learning their new jobs and carried them out with enthusiasm and unselfish dedication. In spite of long hours, arduous working and living conditions, and isolation from recreational opportunties, their enthusiasm, morale, and loyalty to the program never wavered.
