Bva To Amc My Timeline

Question

I received a BVA Decision on 6-01-2007.

Some issues were remanded to the AMC.

I just got a letter from the AMC notifying

me they have the remand from the BVA

can't believe today is 9-23-2008.

So the time frame just from the my BVA decision

is 1year, 3 months and 22 days.

I will be responding to it this week plus it says

they are ordering some Medical tests.

Carlie

My claim was at the AMC for 2 years and 4 months and I called them endless times. It s best to stay after the AMC or your claim may take years.

Betty and I compiled a list of phone numbers at the AMC, when I return from the VA Dr. appointments, I ll see if I can find those numbers.

Happy Trails

Paul

Hello Carlie,

waiting and waiting sure can set the spirit in a bad mood sometimes.

The BVA has been telling me they are sending out for yet another opinion. That was supposed to be ordered back in April or May, but it's still not ordered. I was told the delay problems are due to the BVA moving into new buildings. It really doesn't matter. The claim doesn't get processed until the med opinion is finally ordered. If it's held in limbo, it goes no where. Mission accomplished.

We'll make it. It's just going to take a bit longer.
