Sorry it has been a few days, family drama has been going on. I'd like to post the email my congressional contact got and then forwarded to me. How long do we have to wait, now?! Any ideas?

I just recently received this message verbatim from the VA Regional Office:

“Brian XXXXXXX

The Decision Review Officer has just informed me that his case has been rated. It is with a member of the appeals team who completes the input into the system. I will keep you posted. “

I just wanted to let you and your family know that we are doing everything we can. I will be in touch further as I receive any further updates. I tried to contact you via telephone, but the Verizon numbers were not currently in service.

Take care,

Belle, you deserve a pat on the back, and a big hug for all of the work you have put forth. As you know it is a team effort, you and your spouse. The time and energy seem like no one listens but your fortitude to stay the way has been proven by your grants. Stay strong and never stop fighting for your rights for your family.

Too bad and sad many vets do not have partners to stay and fight with them, and for them. A true testament to love, and fairness, and justice. Keep it going girl. The world is open and the universe takes care of those who do good for mankind. :P
