The VA failed to administer a simple antibiotic to this veteran.

He was being treated for leukemia and developed low white blood cell count and then a severe infection.

The VA oncologist told his wife by phone to give him an over the counter anti diarreal medication-

within days he was dead.

He was 45 years old.

Reports state ---the U.S. Government is maintaining no fault. They are still agreeing to settle and pay for general damages and future and loss of income.

Yep the feds always state it that way in the USA settlement papers- my settlement says the same thing-it is SOP lingo wih the OGC.

so why did they pay the Moola? Duh-

However my Section 1151 claim award letter clearly shows their liability-taken from the exact OGC documents-

"Multiple deviations in a usual standard of care occurred and all of these deviations caused the veteran's death."

A nice way of saying they killed my husband.

I dont think this family cares how the USA states the findings- as long as the money gets electronically deposited into their bank account ASAP.
