Retro Pay Just Got It

I was reading a article on the internet about the VA just paid all back pay up to date,this was yesterday. I called the 800 number and the person said the check was mailed yesterday. I asked don't they direct deposit it? She said no for some reason they mailed it. Guess what I got it today the check $7524.00 for back pay CRDP. After about 30 phones calls to DFAS and the VA, many e mails and letters i got it.....Now I'm going to start on the rest of back for 100% ratings that were back dated making me 100% P&T and year earlier then the last claim date....

I am new here, my husband just had his c&p and now they sent a letter for some new

x-rays, what is my pay, and how long does it take to hear something, we have been working

DFAS and the VA have sophisticatd calculators-to figure out retro

but they are run by humans-

when you have a minute to deal with it-by all means see if the retro amount is correct.

DFAS uses stubby pencils run by Lockheed Martin!!!!!!

my pay is the name of the web site that dfas has for retirees.we can get info concerning our pay issues.i have been waiting about 4 years,for them to correct errors in the crdp credit the longer we waited the bigger the prize became. excuse me, DFAS = defense finance and accounting service,sorry about the mistake..As i said sunday,i tried to get thru to them today,but mondays are tough to get calls thru The Bank Said ITS mine so i took it........a major problem must now be overcome the IRS and the increase in taxable income...........
