From what I have been able to deduce and have noticed in awards, the VA always rounds down to the nearest whole number by muliples of 10. So your 95.1 would round down to 90 percent.

My logic stems from knowing that if I had, say three 10% awards. VA math would calculate it at 27.1 percent. Since it doesn't reach the next higher percentage award from twenty percent to thirty percent. you are then only given or paid at the 20 percent level.

I could be totally wrong, but I think that is why if you have two 10% awards, your still paid only at the 10% level, since VA math calculates it at 19 percent, which is less than the next higher rating of 20%.

There is a calculator at the following address on this site.

If you haven't already used it, you might use it to see if your 95.1 precent is correct.

From what I understand a 95.1 would round up a 94.1 would round down.... the va always rounds to the nearest 10....

That is the only time the VA uses normal math.

5 and up rounds up to the next 10th

4 and under rounds down to the next 10th

25 will get you a 30 percent disability rating

24 will get you a 20 percent disability rating.

Yes. 95 and above, rounded up to 100%. Ratings are in increments of 10.

In fact, 94.5 is also rounded up to 95%, which in turn is rounded up to 100%. This is my husband's rating, which was then rounded up to 100% schedular.

94.4 is rounded down to 90.
