Clothing Allowance

Hello! 1st time here. I've been eligible for the clothing allowance since '05 and just found out I WAS eligible. that's a lick on me, i guess. Here's my question.. I applied late last month(SEP). Will I see a check before next year, and if so, is it retro-active? Thanks, Jack.

Hello All Hope All Is Well. Thats a great quesation Jack ,I have been wearing knee braces for over twenty years and was never aware of this benefit as well is or does a CUE apply for VARO not or VAMC acknowledge this ,They Have provided braces for twenty years but not clothing allowance but i did apply and recieved 600.00 this past week.your thoughts?and Thank You All

Thanks for replying. By CUE, do you mean a retroactive payment? Or is that just tough luck because I didn't know about the benefit? How long did it take to get your 1st payment, and was it a check or direct deposit, which I have? Thanks again, Jack.

I have no Idea if Clear Unmistakable Error applies to this ? Anybody can chime in on this one ,I would like to think so That it would apply.
