Bva Traveling Board

Question

I have a bva traveling board scheduled for nov 18 2008. My question is will this board render a desission or remand or denial or does it go to someone else in the bva to be decided? Also do they render a decision quick or does it take years? I been at it now for 5 years. Thanks!

That is a tossup.

The BVA has the options of:

1 Remand back to RO.

3.Decide the Appeal. Reverse a RO decision.

3.Remand to the AMC in Washington.

4.Concurring with the RO. Deny the appeal.

Personally I think the board remands way too much.

I was awarded 20% for limited motion and granted tinittus on Jan 21 2009 so it only took 2 months to get decision. But now it is 2 months later and still waiting for my back pay.

Hi Admiral, I also had a remand for hearing loss with my two granted claims. I do understand that a remand takes some time but I wonder why my granted claims are being held up at the amc. It's just anouther ride on my 5 year VA rollercoaster! I'm still hanging on to this vicious ride. Les
