He and others are on what is called a short list, or more likely finalist for the position. Their is also a lady, who is a double amputee disabled Veteran that I saw on the local news report, but for the life of me can not remember her name, but she sounds to me, to be a more suitable candidate, since she has already had personal experience with the VA system and surely knows and understands the VA's short commings first hand.

That would be Tammy Duckworth, I think she lost her legs in a chopper crash, BTW she was with OBAMA on Veterans Day.

I think that Edwards and Duckworth will get something but all the speculation is guessing by Media with no access to decisions so we will all have to wait and see. So far it looks like some really good people being considered minus Peake of course.
