I filed a NOD in March, 09. Since this Decision was ALREADY a DRO review, I did not think I could ask for a DRO review on a decision that was a Decision Officer Review. However, they sent me a letter and asked if I wanted a DRO review or BVA appeal. I thought about it and sent the form back and elected another DRO review, therefore, I guess my appeal is waiting DRO review.

I just had mine remanded back from CAVC to the BVA. My attorney is getting his chunk for getting the remand but my guess is taht he will tell me I am on my own again. I wish I had an attorney I could trust. this is the second time it has been remanded.

I appealed to the BVA in 1998.

Claim finally denied by BVA on May 15, 2009 after repeated remands.

Hired attorney & spinal claims went to CAVC on June 15, 2009

Claims for MS, Chronic pain, etc that were held up in 2005 pending BVA decision, were filed at the VARO June 15, 2009.

My fear is that your attorney is like mine. He wants to find a way to get it remanded so he can get paid by the government and then will tell you that you are on your own again...
