So, I'm so mad I can't see straight right now. They denied the increase again. I can't believe it, I really just can't understand how a DOCTOR'S OPINION, the DOCTOR WHO TREATS MY HUSBAND TREATS HIM! can be ignored for a lower rating. RATERS ARE NOT DOCTORS! DAMN, I'm pissed. I am sitting here shaking I'm so mad.

Don't send in any reply until you calm down. Write it and lay it aside. Wait until you have thought it out before sending it in. When you get calmed down 1 week, 1 month, whatever, then pick it up. Reread it, run it by someone here, then think about sending it in. It will be more rational then and that will help if you go to BVA.

Isn't there a reg that says that if there is a question of some symptoms being for a higher rating, but not ALL, that they have to grant the higher rating? Am I out in left field here? I could swear I read somewhere that if many symptoms would warrant a higher rating they have to grant the higher rating...

You are supposed to get the benefit of the doubt, but you see what that means. They twist it up, so that you lose the benefit of doubt because they have their thumbs on the scale. You will win in the end. This is the test to keep pressing forward with these bastards. I hate them as well because they have screwed thousands just to save a buck. The disabled vet to the VA is a broken machine that needs to be junked as cheaply as possible.
