Had Biopsies Today

Went to the Dermatology Clinic today (after much begging for a referral from my PCP) as I have a history of skin cancer (x2). I've had a couple more suspicioius moles I've been watching for quite some time and the Derm doc took one look at them today and did an immediate removal and biopsy of both of them.

So keep your fingers crossed that I get good news!!!

The Derm doc agreed that I need to be seen several times a year for a full-body check of suspicious moles and other skin spots....too bad it took almost 3 years to get this through the head of my PCP...gotta love the VA.

I guess that the Dermatology will take over. They call me in every 4 months and no contact with my PCP for the appointment
