My APP. for increased Comp based on unemployability is in the mail.

Anyone have an idea when I will hear back from the VA and what will be the next step? A C&P? Share your experiences please.

I am in the process of filing for 100% disibility and curently getting all of the evidence together. I worked for the U.S. Dept. of Labor from Sept. 1982 to March 2006 and have requested my personnel file from that agency as evidence. Question, what is the employer form and does it have a number. Form 21-8940 appears to have that info on it. I don't mean to be a bother but I want to get this right the frist time. Thanks for any help you can provide.

No bother - and again, hadit now has a IU forum so that's probably the best place to post these questions but in the interim, perhaps this will help you -

Go to these two links and print the forms off and you will see for yourself that they are NOT the same form. VA Form 21-8940 is for you to fill out to request consideration for IU and VA Form 21-4192 is for your previous employers to fill out to verify employment.
