Very Confused About Appeals Granted & No Money Yet

les

Question

I was granted by the bva for limited motion 20% and for tinitus on Jan 21. 2009. The bva also remanded hearing loss to the amc and I was told that my awards are still at the amc. Can anyone tell me why they are holding up my awards? I call the amc and I get different answers of coarse. I applied for hardship and was told that it is noted and would be finished as soon as possible. After 5 years waiting to get a award it's a bit hard waiting for the back pay to come. I am going on a deep sea charter this week at Hatteras Nc. I'm sure this will help my anxiety a lot. Thanks for reading! Les

I received a statement of case dated Feb 10th, 2008. I emailed through ISIS?? Iris?? which ever on March 27th, they responded on March 30th stating that a message had been sent to the treasury for retroactive payment and I should receive it in a week or two. I have called and emailed several times since the 5th week.

Carterdap:

Have you been waiting over a year for your retro check.

Tomorrow will be April 1, 2009 and you state you received your

SOC February 10, 2008.

Did you type the incorrect year?

You won! Right! The money will come. Go fishing and continue on with your life. Don't let the VA consume you.
