Question

Well I stopped by the VARO today. To check on status of my Voc Rehab, TDIU? Unfortunately my couselor at VR is on maternity leave for another 2.5 weeks. Well unfortunate for me. (she is a nice lady). She gave me the forms for the Dr.s to fill out about being unemployable. Once they are returned to her she is to evaluate and decide whether I can go through VR or not. More than likely not, hence the reason she asked for the Dr's letters.
I asked the gentleman at the VARO today whether I had to file for TDIU right now or not. His explanation was no. Anybody have a clue about this? I'm scared to file it before she gets back, as I don't want the VARO pulling my file and having it in someone elses hands when she gets back. She tried to get the paperwork in for me before her leave, but of course my Shrink decided to take vacation at an inopportune time.
Also I went to a private Dr. about my back today. Got tired of playing the "We can fuse 2-3 vertabrae or you can live with the pain" answers and am seeking out other therapies on my own. Luckily the Dr. I am seeing now, advised me today that the problems I am having in my cervical spine, were due to the nasty fall I took while in the military that I am already SC for my Lumbar spine. His basis being, that the DDD and athritis show the same age on the MRI and x-rays that the VA took last Spring. Since the treatment he is giving me isn't covered by insurance, I asked if he would write up my condition since he sees bad backs on a daily basis and assured me he would. So I guess the money I was going to send to Dr. Bash will go to this guy instead.
Hopefully this treatment will work (DRX-9000) and give me part of my life back again. Oh and the TDIU is for the PTSD not the back.
80% SC/100% TDIU
70%PTSD All the rest is Back problems.

God Bless the Troops.
