Question
ce4460
I am curious if anyone can answer the question, does the VA have a Policy or Regulation which prohibits psychologists from having a relationship with their patients after they are released from the hospital?? Also, I'm curious if it matters if sex makes any difference. If there is such a policy or Reg, I'd appreciate a reference so I can look it up.
I want to file a tort against VA for sexual misconduct but think the intentional tort exception would preclude me from proceeding. It is my understanding that State laws can not be applied to the US Government so I can't use that for the tort. If I can show that this psychologist was in violation of one or more policies/regulations I think I can use that.
Can anyone help?
