Question

I'm an OEF vet and have filed a disability claim recently, mainly in regards to my right ankle that I sprained and did some tendon damage to during my tour. Once I have my C & P exam and my claim is under review from the Veterans Review Board, will it cause a big hang up for them making a decision on my rating if I am scheduled for corrective surgery on that ankle? Will they delay their decision until after my surgery and make me come in for another ratings eval to see how the ankle has healed and how much of a disability it is after?
Thanks.
